Yes - Massachusetts requires an S-License for the installation of security and surveillance systems. MVIS holds all necessary state and local licenses, so every installation we perform is fully compliant. This also means our electrical work meets code, giving you peace of mind that your system is both legal and safe.
We set up temporary access codes or scheduled unlock windows through your smart lock platform. You can create a unique code for your cleaner that only works on specific days and times, and you'll get a notification when it's used. When the season ends, you simply deactivate the code from your phone. It pairs perfectly with our home automation systems - the house can disarm, turn on lights, and adjust the thermostat the moment the code is entered.
Yes - automated gate systems are one of our most popular requests, especially for properties in Chilmark and West Tisbury with longer driveways. We integrate gate motors with your intercom, cameras, and smart home platform so you can open the gate from your phone or an in-wall touchscreen. Not when they're specified correctly. We exclusively use cameras and housings rated for marine and coastal environments - corrosion-resistant materials, sealed enclosures, and UV-stable mounts. Living and working on Martha's Vineyard, we understand the toll salt air, nor'easters, and humidity take on outdoor equipment, and we choose products accordingly.
